Guitar Service & Repair
Below is a guide to our guitar and bass services. Prices may vary slightly depending on the amount of work and parts required. For non-standard guitars we recommend coming in for a consultation.
We use Dunlop cleaners, polishes and oils in our service department. Every job comes with a stamped service sheet and a 12-month guarantee on all work and parts (excluding strings).

We stock a wide range of strings from Ernie Ball, Elixir, Fender, Augustine, Dunlop and Savarez — electric, acoustic, classical and bass.
Restring plus full cleaning and polishing with Dunlop products, fretboard oiling where appropriate, body and hardware cleaning.
Everything above plus full fret polishing for a smoother, faster feel.

For guitars where uneven or damaged frets make a standard setup impossible. Includes everything in the standard setup, plus:
- Fret re-levelling, gluing any loose frets, removing sharp edges
- Re-crowning and polishing of all frets
- Full setup: action, intonation, nut height, truss rod and strings
A properly repaired headstock can be virtually invisible and will restore full playing strength — considerably cheaper than replacing the entire neck.
Bone and plastic nut materials available. We use Hosco precision nut files to ensure a perfect fit and correct action height.
Electric pickup installation from €19.95. Acoustic pickup installation from €29.90. Bring in the pickups you want and we'll get them installed.
