Moreno is a vocal acrobat who works in a range of styles. His industrial-sounding breathy, manic recitations are contrasted with more sombre, contemplative passages on the album that highlight his talent for eerie melody. The massive, incredibly powerful, and incredibly nimble wall of sound behind him is guitarist Stephen Carpenter.
