Since the 1950s, every generation of bassists has been influenced by the timeless designs of the Eko PB300 electric bass. Any bassist just beginning his musical journey will be delighted by the PB300's versatility and comfort thanks to its passive electronics, which include a precise-sounding single P-type pickup and a 21-fret maple neck.

Timeless lines rendered with precision.

It is unnecessary to introduce the classic silhouette that served as the inspiration for the PB300's design. Its distinctive double cutaway, which provides good access to the final fret, along with its single pickup provide an instantly identifiable visual hallmark. The Italian firm Eko used this traditional design to create the PB300, an appealing electric bass that is ergonomic with its welcoming curves and limited weight, and most importantly, very adaptable for beginning bassists.

Quality lutherie.

In order to provide bassists who are new to the instrument with a beautiful, well-finished bass, PB300's lutherie has received the highest care. A high-gloss lacquer accentuates the body, which is made of poplar for strength. A laurel fingerboard adds warmth and solidity to the robust, cosy 4-point screwed maple neck.

A versatile configuration.

In terms of technology, the PB300 has a single-coil P-type pickup. When paired with strong distortion, it may be quite biting and percussion-like in addition to being excellent for clean sounds. A general tone control lets you change the timbre for more or less brilliance, increasing the variety of sound options. In order to optimise the action and harmonics of every string and guarantee efficient sustain, the bridge block features separately adjustable saddles.
