A little but mighty multi-effects processor, the NUX MG-300 MKII is made for guitarists and bassists who want professional-caliber tone shaping in a portable package. The MKII version of the MG-300 builds on its predecessor by adding new features and increased functionality, making it a more adaptable instrument for recording, live performances, and practice.

Amp Modeling and Effects

The MG-300 MKII is powered by NUX's exclusive TSAC-HD White-Box Modelling Algorithm, which faithfully simulates the responsiveness and dynamics of tube amplifiers. With 27 amp models—25 electric, 1 acoustic, and 1 bass amp—the processor gives a variety of tonal options. 45 built-in effects, including delays, reverbs, compressors, modulation effects, overdrives, and EQs, complete these models and enable thorough sound composition.

Cabinet Simulation (IR)

There are 36 preset IR slots on the MG-300 MKII, including 3 acoustic, 8 bass, and 25 electric cabinet simulations. Users can import and save their own cabinet simulations for customised tone building thanks to its 24 user-loadable IR slots. The processor offers a wide range of options for capturing the required sound, including three mic placements and four microphone models.

Looper

Perfect for practice and composition, the MG-300 MKII has a phrase looper that can loop for 60 seconds in stereo or 120 seconds in mono. With 68 rhythm patterns in a variety of genres and auto tempo detection to match your playing, the integrated drum machine improves both practice sessions and live performances.

Software Editor

The QuickTone software editor from NUX, which is accessible on both Mac and PC, is compatible with the MG-300 MKII. This user-friendly interface makes it simple to customise sounds, manage patches, and upgrade firmware, giving users a more efficient way to tweak and arrange their tones.
